I don't believe I've EVER seen a wood stork before. I do know that I'm sure I don't want to stand UNDER him! He's quite an impressive gent though, isn't he?
Oh, fantastic shots! I see in my e-mail this morning that a friend in SC has sent me some pictures of Wood Storks, too. Beautiful, but almost prehistoric looking birds.
I just love these shots. We've had a Cooper's Hawk sitting on a light pole outside of the school for weeks now. Comes back almost every day, and sometimes is joined by his mate.
