Accident

I was stuck in traffic this afternoon, and this was the reason why. I have a feeling the occupants didn't make out too well, as I saw two fire and rescue and one ambulance speeding away from the scene.

Name That Bird, Two

I thought I was shooting a Wood Stork, but as I got closer to the bird I realized he's quite different than a Wood Stork - his beak is thicker and not as curved, he looks like he has a mask on, this head is a little different, and his feathers are brownish, rather than white. I'm going to look for him on some expert bird sites, but if you know what it is, let me know. Thanks.

Just A Baby ... Gator

One of the men that works at the air boat ride in Kissimmee told me that a gator's age can be determined by the length of its snout - approximately one inch, from its eyes to the tip of the snout, for each year. So, while I think this is a baby, he's probably more like a toddler. LOL

A Rare Threesome

For me, a rare sight: two Tri-Color Herons and a Little Blue Heron sitting on the same bridge.

A Couple Of Flipped Reflections

This will be my last post on this blog for a while. Thanks for everything! I'll be around.

One Fight Too Many

Maybe I'm a little nuts, but this cloud formation looks like a boxer's face to me. A boxer that has had his face pummeled one too many times. LOL

Birds Doing Their Thing

1) Ibis ... what a wing span.
2) White Ibis, Brown Ibis, Wood Stork ... strutting.
3) Limpkin ... wading in shallow water.

Survivors

I posted a photo of these ducklings a few days ago on my Champions Gate blog. There were twelve of them then.

Gator

I shot these, and several more, of this gator lying on the bank a few feet from the start of the Walking Trail in Celebration. Good thing he wasn't hungry, lol.

A Wet Sunrise

I shot this reflection in one of the ponds at the Champions Gate Golf Course, and flipped it, of course, because I am the master of the flipped reflection shot. (I joke, of course. It just seemed like a fun thing to do.) LOL

Bobber In The Sky

A lonely fishing bobber floating in the sky above Lake Toho on a bright and sunny day. Of course, it's really floating in the water, I just flipped the photo to give the reflection a surreal look.
