Amaryllis

A beautiful flower growing in my Sweet Old Mama's yard. A note about my mother: I grew up calling my mother, Ma. A few years ago my brother gave her a Mother's Day card and addressed it Mom, and when she opened it he said, "You will forever be known as Mom from now on." That pissed me off, and I've been fighting it ever since!! LOL

I think Sweet Old Mama sounds pretty cool though ... I think I'll run that by her on Mother's Day!

Gliding Along

RVHendge

An RV (Recreational Vehicle) dealer on I-4 about fourteen miles outside of Tampa stuck these old RVs in the ground in a large field adjacent to their sales lot. I've been seeing it the past few times I've gone to the Tampa area, but it is impossible to stop on the highway, so I readied my camera and guesstimated where I should click the shutter, lol. It's a poor quality shot, but it is out of my windshield while I was doing about 70 mph ... the content is more important than the quality, right? LOL [Click To Enlarge]

Oh, and of course, the post title: RVHendge. So named because it reminded me of Stonehendge ... in this case a shrine for worshiping the god of the RVers!!

Frog Dog Of Lake Toho

I saw the dog walking along carrying the frog in it's mouth, so I asked if I could take his picture. The gentleman said yes, and the dog immediately dropped the frog! He didn't want any part of a photo shoot, lol.

1) "Put the frog back in your mouth, the man wants to take your picture."
2) "What's wrong with you? You always carry this in your mouth!"
3) "You are embarrassing me! Why?"
4) "C'mon! You are impossible!"

This young lady was walking her little puppy, Marley, a Yellow Lab, along the Kissimmee Lakefront, and I just couldn't resist asking her to stop so I could shoot the dog!

Cool Dog

I ran into one of my neighbors at the 7-11 this afternoon while she was walking her dog. She told me he's been wearing these sunglasses on his daily walks for three years now! I never noticed. He's 18 years old and she wants to protect his eyes from the harsh Florida sun! [Click To Enlarge]

Hawk Head Parrot

A hawk head parrot, resting on the shoulder of his human caretaker, who also happened to be one of the judges at the Celebration Exotic Car Festival. The man was very nice to stop and allow me to take the picture. His parrot was getting as many ooohs and ahhhs as the cahs!! LOL
